What CrewSift is — and isn't

CrewSift is a matching and introduction service. We are not a contractor, not a general contractor, and not an employer of the crews on the roster. You contract with crews directly, at their rates, under your own agreements. We never mark up a crew's rate and we are not a party to your contract with them.

Verification, honestly scoped

Tiers mean exactly what the site says: Listed crews are scored from public recommendations and have not been document-checked by us. For Verified crews we confirm the license against the state board and keep a current insurance certificate (COI) on file at the time of checking; licenses and insurance can lapse, so confirm current documents before work starts — as you would with any sub. Proven means a job closed through CrewSift and both sides rated it.

Fees

The first introduction is free. After that, buyers pay a flat fee — $150–$300 depending on scope, quoted and agreed before the introduction — only when a job actually starts. If the job doesn't start, no fee. After two paid matches, buyers may choose a $300/month roster subscription instead. Crews never pay to join, to be listed, or for introductions.

No-shows and ratings

If a crew we introduced doesn't show, the replacement introduction is free and the no-show is recorded on the crew's file; repeat no-shows are removed from the roster. Ratings are collected from both sides after a job and affect future matching.

The one rule for introductions

Introductions are made so the relationship can keep running through CrewSift — that's how the roster stays verified and current for everyone. If we introduce you to a crew, follow-on work with that crew during the next 12 months goes through us on the same fee terms.
