Privacy, in plain English

What we collect

Only what you type into our two forms: on the request form, your name, company, email, the trade and location of the job, timing, and job details; on the join form, your business name, contact name, email, trade, service area, license number if you give it, and crew details. We also keep the crew roster built from public contractor-group posts — business names, trades, service areas, and how often other contractors recommend them by name.

What we never do

• We never sell phone numbers, email addresses, or contact lists. To anyone, ever.
• A crew's contact details go to a buyer only when that crew accepts the introduction.
• We don't put form submitters on a marketing mailing list.
• We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How your information is used

To do the one thing you asked for: match a job with crews, make introductions both sides agree to, and follow up on how the match went. License numbers are checked against the state licensing boards (Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board; Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) — that check is the point of the Verified tier.

Listings and removal

Crews listed from public recommendations can claim their listing to correct it, or have it removed entirely — email hello@crewsift.com and we'll take it down, no questions. The same goes for any form submission: ask and we delete it.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (Vercel Analytics) to see which pages get used and whether the forms work. No cross-site tracking, no ad profiles.
